“ How can we address the challenges that are confronting new middle-class youth in Chinese Tier 1-2 cities amid rising economic and social pressures?”
Conceptually situated in the vibrant cultural hub of Qinhuangdao, China, 01enfantétoilestudios is a co-working creative space & hybrid label in collaboration with Aranya China, dedicated to redefining the professional landscape for young creatives who are navigating the complexities of workforce involution and burnout. By emphasizing the process of democratization and transparency, we ensure that our studio remains an open, accessible, and honest space for all creatives, further enriching the cultural fabric of our community.
01enfantétoilestudios blends cutting edge design with sustainability, providing a perfect setting for artists and innovators to thrive. Our facilities are built to inspire, from environmentally conscious features that minimize our ecological footprint to collaborative spaces that foster cultural exchange and creativity. At 01enfantetoilestudios, we support a diverse array of creative disciplines, encouraging conversations and creative projects amongst Chinese young creatives and talents.

LOCATION MAP

The project is strategically located near the developing cultural creative district by the Aranya coastline (阿那亞海岸線), adjacent to the UCCA. Although this area attracts a significant number of visitors, it doesn’t see the overwhelming crowds typical of the Lonely Library (孤獨圖書館) on the other side of the coastline as of right now. The endless sea horizon offers a constant reminder of nature’s beauty and vastness, fostering a work atmosphere where tranquility and productivity go hand in hand.
PHOTOVOLATICS (PV)
SOLAR PANELS ROOF

Our unique slant-cut roof is meticulously engineered to maximize solar energy absorption while still allowing ample natural light to flood the interior. This architectural feature optimizes the placement of photovoltaic panels to harness the maximum amount of solar energy, ensuring efficient power generation. Simultaneously, the design maintains a bright and welcoming atmophere inside the building, seamlessly blending functionality with environmental sustainability. This initiative aligns with China’s increasing focus on renewable and sustainable energy solutions, especially as the country approaches the limits of its fossil fuel consumption.
